Information we process

We process account details, preferences, resumes, career stories, job activity, generated application materials, billing status, and technical logs needed to provide and secure GetMyDreamJob.

Chrome extension

The extension parses resumes locally by default and stores resume text, the autofill profile, and previews in Chrome session storage. When you request AI refinement, the extension sends the reviewed profile, resume text, relevant form fields, page title, URL, and page context securely to our API. It never submits a job application automatically.

How we use information

• Provide job discovery, matching, tailoring, autofill, and application tools.
• Authenticate accounts, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and support users.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability.
• Process payments through our payment provider; we do not store full card details.

Sharing and retention

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as hosting, AI, analytics, email, and payment providers, or when legally required. We retain information while your account is active and as needed for security, billing, and legal obligations. You may delete your account from Settings.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell personal data or use extension data for personalized advertising.

Security and your choices

We use HTTPS and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You may review data before sending it, clear extension-local data, sign out, or request support.
